Betty Martin

Betty Martin, 84, of Delphi, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024, at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello. Betty was born to the late Emery and Minnie (Smith) Martin, On December 23, 1939, in Delphi. Betty was a 1958 graduate of Delphi High School.

After graduation, Betty worked at Globe Valve in Delphi for over 39 years where she assisted in manufacturing. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Ariel, and the John Purdue Club.

In her free time, Betty was an avid Purdue Sports fan, and attended men's and women's basketball games for decades. She had a passion for meeting new friends and always had a special bond with her closest friends at Purdue. She was known to always have a smile for others.

She is survived by many special friends, the Hildebrandt family, and the Minnicus family.

Betty was preceded in death by her sisters; Lillian Jean Yoder, and Claudine Martin.
