Connie Jane (Elliot) Cain

Connie Jane (Elliot) Cain, 74, of Battleground, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Delphi. Connie was born on January 11, 1951, in Lafayette, to the late Charles and Rachel (Stanley) Elliot.

Connie married the love of her life; John Cain, in Lafayette and he survives. They just celebrated over 59 years of being happily married.

Connie had worked at Rigg Skirts in Flora for several years, and as a homemaker. In her free time Connie loved to cook meals for her family, watch NCIS, and do anything outdoors related, especially by the river. Her most cherished past time was spent with her family, and especially her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Surviving Connie include her daughters; Kelly (Chuck King), Cheryl (Gary) King, Dana (Doug) Gray, son; John (Brandi) Cain Jr., sisters; Rachel Moore, Carrie (Rodger) Morgan, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Connie was preceded in death by her sister; Kay Dexter.
