Danny L. Garner

Danny Lee Garner, 79 of Delphi passed away at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi on Jan. 6, 2022. He was born to the late Ernest and Mary (Hudson) Garner on Aus. 2, 1942 in Peru, Indiana

He was a graduate of Twin Lakes High School. He served in the US Army from 1959-1961.

He married Janet Sue Shockley on Dec. 24, 1961 and she survives. They were married 60 years.

He retired as Head Custodian at Hillcrest Elementary. Prior to Hillcrest he worked at RCA in the Finish Dept.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Along with his wife, Janet, he is survived by his daughter, Vicky Little (Robert) of Delphi and son, Danny L. Garner of Monticello; sisters: Charlotte Elliott and Sherry Timbers of Peru, Sheila Nolan and Judy DeVos of TX; brothers: Bobby Burnett, Bob Garner, and Randall Garner of TX; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel Garner and great grandson, Garrett Ada.

Friends and family will gather at Davidson Funeral Home in Delphi on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
