Donald Lee Collom

Donald Lee “Bosshog” Collom, 75 of Delphi, passed away at his home on Dec. 18, 2021. He was born on July 13, 1946 in Danville, IL to the late Vernon A. and Irene G. (Cook) Collom. He graduated from Ridge Farm High School in Ridge Farm, IL.

He married Karen Steers on July 14, 1972 in Ridge Farm, IL and she survives.

He retired from General Motors Central Foundry in Tilton, IL where he was a forklift driver.

He was a member of the Shriners. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping and hunting.

Along with his wife, Karen Collom, he is survived by children: Deanna Leonard (Bobby) of Covington, IN, Amy Peterson (Brad) and Tracy Collom of Oakwood, IL, Chastity Collom of Bristow, OK and Lisa Trimble (Matt) of Peoria, IL; brother, Tom Collom of Catlin, IL; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughters, Maranda Michelle Peterson and Brittany Sue Warner.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
