Doris Ann (Longshore) Joslyn

Doris Ann (Longshore) Joslyn, 84, of Delphi, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 16, 2025, at The Maples- Benzie County Medical Care, in Frankfort, Michigan. Doris was born on July 28, 1940 in Marion, Indiana, to the late Marvin and Dorthulea (Dowham) Longshore.

Doris attended Delphi High School and then graduated from Twin Lakes High School. On September 27, 1979, Doris married the love of her life Ralph “Whitey” Joslyn. Ralph and Doris were happily married for over 40 years when he preceded her in death on February 27, 2020.

Doris retired from Chem Tron in Monticello, and then again from Landis+Gyr in Lafayette. Whitey and Doris were members of Monticello Christian Church for several years. In her free time Doris enjoyed reading, crocheting, and her jigsaw puzzles. Her most cherished past time was spent with her loving family.

Surviving Doris include her children; Teresa (Jim) Rogers, step-daughters; Lenae Romack, Lori Wells, and many grand, great, and great-great- grandchildren.

Preceding Doris in death include her son; Chester (Margaret) Hufford, sisters; Arlene Longshore, Gail Longshore, brother; James Longshore.

A funeral service honoring the life of Doris will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 1 pm, with Pastor Chris Dodson officiating, located at Davidson-Shirey Funeral Home, 121 North Union Street, Delphi. Friends may visit with the family from 11 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at IOOF Memorial Gardens in Pittsburg.
