Fernando Trevino

Fernando Trevino, 85, of Delphi, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 12:54 am, at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Delphi. Fernando was born on October 6, 1939 in Elsa, Texas to the late Guadalupe and Alvessa (Garza) Trevino.

Fernando was a meat processor for over 40 years for several different grocery stores. In his free time, Fernando enjoyed playing and watching golf, and baseball. He enjoyed cheering on the Chicago Cubs and the Blackhawks. Fernando was truly a kind and caring person and he would give anyone the shirt off his back. Fernando never met a stranger and he will be missed by many. Fernando’s favorite past time was spending time with his loving family.  Fernando was also a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Delphi.

Surviving Fernando include his partner; Karen Corso, sons; William F. Trevino, James D. Trevino, sisters; Margaret (Tom) Gronginger, Alice (Jay) Kolk, Janie (Jerry) Buckles, Lupe M. (Sylvia) Trevino Jr, grandchildren; Alexander Trevino, Tia Trevino, and Ava Trevino.

Trevino was preceded in death by a sister; Ofelia Garrison.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 25, 2025, beginning at 1 pm, with Fr. Chris Miller celebrating, located at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 207 N Washington St, Delphi.  Friends may visit with the family from 12 noon until the time of the service.

A private family burial will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery.
