Freddie “Fred” Wayne Howe, 66, of Delphi, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis. Fred was born on August 15, 1958, in Lafayette to the late Robert and Sheila (Deweese) Howe.

In 2000 Fred married the love of his life Anita (Humphrey) Howe in Lafayette. They just celebrated 25 years of being happily married.

Fred graduated from Orr High School in Minnesota. Fred worked at Complete Trans Pack Solutions in Monticello where he was a supervisor and eventually retired after over 30 years of service.

In his free time Fred enjoyed spending time with his friends, camping, and wood working. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and watching Rusty Wallace. He enjoyed helping his youngest son with his business at Howe’s Painting. His most cherished past time was spent with his loving family, and especially his grandchildren.

Surviving Fred include his loving wife; Anita, children; Alisa (Joe Tristan Jr) Howe, Anthony (Geani Wilson) Howe, Andrea (Josh Smith) Howe, Aaron (Erika Hollis) Howe, step-children; April (Nathan) Hanthorne, Michael (Candice) Davis, brother; Bobby Howe, grandchildren; Kasey, Tyler, Alex, Echo, Eli, Anthony, Tyler, Hunter, Artie, great-grandchildren; Xavier, Braelynn, and several nieces and nephews.

Fred was preceded in death by a brother; Anthony Howe, and a sister; Cynthia Howe.
