Jane (Leibert) Ullery

Jane (Leibert) Ullery, 81, of Delphi, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Jane was born on September 13, 1944, in Lafayette, to the late John and Martha (Lynch) Leibert.

Jane graduated from Rossville High School. On August 18, 1995, Jane married Ronald Ullery, who preceded her in death on April 11, 2011. Jane had worked as a cook for the Carroll County Sherrif’s Department for several years before eventually retiring. In her free time, Jane loved to be outdoors. She loved nature, and especially tending to her garden. Jane had a passion for helping people and would always give the shirt off her back to help someone in need.

Jane is survived by her sisters, Deloris (Greg) Terry, Regina (John) Morris; a longtime companion, Kastel Parks; nephew, Lee (Jennifer) Gill; niece, Amy (Mike) Derrickson; Monica (Steve) Hanes; great- niece; Mikilah (Lance), and great-nephews, Landon and Logan Gill, Alan Morris, and Kashton Hanes.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband; Ronald Ullery, and a son; Charles Babb.

A memorial service honoring the life of Jane will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 1 pm, with Pastor Bob Duke officiating, located at Shirey Funeral Home, 121 N Union St, Delphi, IN, 46923. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 11 am. Burial will follow at Pyrmont Cemetery, rural Carroll County.
