Linda Lou (Ferguson) Collins

Linda Lou (Ferguson) Collins, 76, of Kokomo, went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Kokomo.  Linda was born on July 16, 1948, in Kokomo, to the late Virgil Ferguson and Margaret (Herren) Stout.  Linda attended Kokomo High School and was a 1966 graduate.

Linda married the love of her life Homer Collins, who preceded her in death on December 16, 2015.

Linda worked as a bookkeeper throughout her career for several different companies before eventually retiring.

In her free time Linda enjoyed tending to her garden, playing candy crush, reading her Bible, and spending time outdoors with her best friend Chloe. Her most cherished past time was spent laughing with her family. Linda will be greatly missed and forever remembered for her loving nature, and her unique sense of humor.

Linda is survived by her children; Angela (Bruce) Mines, Kristina (Ernie) Shirey, sister; Sherry Waggoner, grandchildren; Derek (Katherine) Harper, Jordan Harper, Tyler Shirey, great-grandchildren; Mila Harper, Harmonee Harper, and Riley Harper.

Preceding Linda in death include her husband; Homer Collins, and a brother; Shane Stout.
