Mariana Martinez

Mariana Martinez, 77, of Delphi, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 4th, 2024, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East.

Mariana was born in El Salvador on April 17, 1947. Mariana migrated to the United States and quickly began working. She was employed at Remington Seeds, and Jordans Manufacturing in Monticello. Mariana married Guadalupe Martinez, where they spent many years happily married.

In her free time, Mariana enjoyed drawing, cooking, and tending to her garden and flowers. Her most cherished past time was spent with her loving family and friends.

Mariana is survived by her loving husband; Guadalupe, a son; German Flores Martinez, grandchildren; Kelly Vanessa Arago’n, Oscar Arago’n, and great-grandchildren; Manuel Arago’n, and Salvador Duru’a.

A funeral service honoring the life of Mariana will begin at 10 am, on Sunday, July 14, 2024, with Pastor Martinez officiating. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 5 pm, on Saturday July 13, at Iglesia y Apostoles Profetas ef 2:20 in Monticello. Burial will follow at IOOF Memorial Gardens in Pittsburg.
