Mary M. (Hanaway) Disinger

Mary M. Disinger, 95 passed away on Oct. 3, 2021 at Monticello Healthcare. Mary was born on Aug. 16, 1926 in Howard County, Indiana to the late George and Louva (Jones) Hanaway. She was a graduate of Delphi High School. She married Paul E. Disinger in Delphi on July 1, 1961. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 2003.

She had worked at Globe Valve Manufacturing in Delphi. She was a babysitter for many years and loved children.

Mary enjoyed traveling & camping; fishing trips with family, crocheting, writing letters, coloring, word puzzles and playing cards. She collected salt and pepper shakers.

She is survived by son, Ron Schwartz (Pat) of Burleson, TX; step-daughter, Wilma Jean Peterson (Don) of Delphi, sister, Ann Orra Walters of Rockfield and brother, George “Tuffy” Hanaway (Jan) of Camden; 4 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 2 step grandsons, 7 great grandchildren 2 step grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Mary was preceded by her husband and daughter, Pam Ryves; 2 sisters and 3 brothers, 1 grandson and 1 step grandson.

A graveside service will be held at Camden Cemetery on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Dan Gottschalk officiating.
