Mary Louise (Reifert) Lytle

March 25, 1940 — January 29, 2022

Mary Louise “Pudgy” Lytle, 81, of Burnettsville, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, at Rensselaer Care Center, Rensselaer, Ind.

Born March 25, 1940, in Delphi, Ind., the daughter of Patrick and Mary M. (Shuey) Reifert. She graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1958.

Mary was retired from Logansport State Hospital where she worked as a QMA.

She enjoyed watching westerns and the Indianapolis Colts and loved observing her great grandchildren, hummingbirds, and playing the piano.

Surviving are six children, Michelle Mills (Mark) of Delphi, Fawn Lytle of Monticello, Kelly Kallner (Rick) of Lebanon, Colleen Scherer (Bob) of Warsaw, Steve Lytle (companion, Deb Metger) of Monticello, and Shawn Lytle (Wendy) of Savannah, Tenn.; siblings, Virginia Cox of Rossville, Mike Reifert (Linda) of Brookston and Jacki Reifert of San Tan Valley, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step father, Ray Moore; sister, Patricia Ann Abbott; and great-granddaughter, Isabel Wang.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 9, from 4 p.m. until the service at 6 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi. Mark Mills will officiate. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Monticello CDC or the Monticello Parks Dept. Nature Center.
