Nathan Bradford

Nathan Bradford, 90, of Camden, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2026, at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello. Nathan was born on March 9, 1936 to the late Joseph and Katherine (Leonard) Bradford, in Harrogate, Tennessee.

Nathan was an equipment operator for Central Indiana Operating Engineers, for nearly 30 years. In his free time, he enjoyed doing anything outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and being down by the river and boating any chance he could. He also had a passion for horses. His most cherished time spent was with his family.

Surviving Nathan are a daughter; Donna Maxwell, brothers; Virgil Bradford, Jimmy Bradford, sister; Dorothy Justice, nieces; Kathy Mitchell, Sue Dexter, and several other nieces and nephews, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nathan was preceded in death by a daughter; Diane Bradford, son; Joe Nathan, siblings; Osie Wilson, Grace Dubes, Jesse Bradford, Zona Bair, and 3 other infant siblings.

A funeral service honoring the life of Nathan will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 2 pm, with Pastor RayGene Wilson officiating, located at Shirey Funeral Home, 121 N Union St, Delphi, IN 46923. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 12 noon, until the time of the service. Burial will follow at IOOF Memorial Gardens in Pittsburg. 

Memorial contributions honoring the life of Nathan may be made out to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
