Paul Glean Walker

Paul Glean Walker, 91, of Delphi, passed away on Dec. 26, 2022 at IU Health Arnett in Lafayette. Paul was born on Aug. 13, 1931 to the late Bascum and Emaline (Manna) Walker in Sneedville, TN. He attended Steedman, Missouri schools.

He served in the US Army during the Korean War.

He married Freida Kerns on March 15, 1975 in Lafayette and she preceded him in death on March 3, 2006.

Mr. Walker retired from farming for Morris Robeson Farms after 32 years.

He was a member of the Brookston Church of Christ, Delphi VFW, and the American Legion in Chalmers.

He loved traveling.

He is survived by step-son, Michael Dyer (Georgia) of Delphi, daughter-in-law, Sherri Dyer of Delphi, grandchildren: Kristi Reynolds (Matt) of Lebanon and Ryan Dyer (Krista) of Delphi; 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded by his son, Nick Walker; 5 sisters and 6 brothers.

A graveside service will be on Dec. 29, 2022 at 1:30 pm at IOOF Memorial Gardens in Pittsburg.

Memorial contributions in Paul’s memory may be given to the Delphi VFW.
