Pearl Ann (Martin) Jenkins

April 2, 1943 — February 1, 2022

Pearl Ann Jenkins, 78, of Delphi passed away on Feb. 1, 2022 at Milner Health Care in Rossville. Pearl was born to the late Harvey A. and Lena Faye (Houser) Martin on April 2, 1943 in Carroll County, Indiana.

She was a 1961 graduate of Delphi Schools.

She married Jerry Lee Jenkins on April 11, 1964 and he survives. She and her husband had lived on a farm in Idaville for 35 years before returning to Delphi.

She had retired as a bus driver for Twin Lakes School Corp. after 16 years. She also was owner and operator at Busy Bee Upholstery in Idaville and Burnettsville for over 29 years.

She had been a member of the White County Lincolnlites Home Ec Club and was a 4-H leader for Jackson Township.

She loved her family and adored her grandchildren. She loved spending time with them.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Stine of Bremen; son, Dennis Wayne Jenkins of Delphi; grandchildren: Seth, Sarah, and Skyler Stine; siblings: Terry Martin (Gayla) of Delphi and Carolyn Fultz of Camden.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents and a baby brother, Ivan; brother, Thomas Martin and brother-in-law, Gene Fultz.

Visitation will be from noon until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022. Pastor Bob Duke officiating. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.

Memorial contributions in Pearl’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. or the Alzheimer’s Assoc.
