Phyllis Ann (Leming) Herget

Phyllis Ann (Leming) Herget, 71, of Battle Ground, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Campus in Delphi. Phyllis was born on July 31, 1952, to the late Charles Leming and Dean (Kirts) Jeffries in Tippecanoe County.

In 1970 Phyllis married Duane Gross, who survives, and in 1975 Phyllis married Robert Herget who preceded Phyllis in death in 2009.

Phyllis Graduated from Battle Ground High School. Phyllis worked for Andover Industries in Lafayette, where she assisted in manufacturing and eventually retired after serving for over 30 years.

In her free time Phyllis enjoyed to gamble, play bingo, and fish. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family. Phyllis was a member of 40&8 La Societe De Femme.

Surviving Phyllis include her daughters; Julie (Matt) Fickle, Jill (Scott) Mikels, sisters; Cheryl (Kenny) Mikels, Leslie (Steve) Norman, Cindy (Scott) Rickard, grandchildren; Scout Mikels, Ethan Fickle, Maddy Fickle, brother-in-law; Jim Craft, and several nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was preceded in death by sisters; Penny Craft, and Dixie Wray.
