Tyler E. Shirey was born in Kokomo, Indiana to Ernie and Kristie Shirey. He was raised in the community of Cassville and graduated from Northwestern High School. Following high school, Tyler pursued his education at Ivy Tech where he studied Mortuary Science. He later continued his education in Marketing Management, ultimately earning his MBA.
Today, Tyler is a licensed funeral director and resides above the funeral home he operates. His calling to serve families began at just 12 years old when he started job shadowing at a local funeral home after school and on weekends, a passion that has only grown stronger with time.
In June of 2023, Tyler's lifelong dream of owning a funeral home in a small town became a reality when the Davidson family handed over the keys and entrusted him with continuing to provide the utmost care. Deeply committed to this community, Tyler is an active member of the Delphi’s Rotary Club, Delphi Lion's Club, Delphi Main Street, and sits on Ivy Tech’s Mortuary Science Advisory Board.
In his free time, Tyler enjoys restoring and maintaining the funeral home, as well as working on his classic 1972 GMC truck.
Tyler is honored to serve your family, and proud to be someone in your corner during life's most difficult moments.

Bob Duke first became the pastor of Delphi Christian Church in 2011, following a lifelong calling to Christian ministry that began in 1976. He dedicated 36 years to serving in the mission field of public education, believing deeply in maintaining a Christian influence in schools.
Throughout his career, Bob frequently served as a guest pastor for churches in transition or for pastors on leave, faithfully answering the call wherever he was needed. A combat veteran of the Vietnam War, he credits his survival in intense firefights to God's protection, saying, "God saw me through combat fire fights, so I wanted to live for Him."
After graduation from Indiana University, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. While in service, he was an executive officer for a training unit at Ft. Knox, KY and then was an Infantry Platoon Leader in Viet Nam. He was awarded the Bronze Star for Valor during combat, the Combat Infantryman's Badge for contact against enemy soldiers, and the Combat Air Assult Badge for helicopter assault into combat situations.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication and Psychology from Indiana University, a Master's degree in Language Arts, and a Specialist's Degree in School Administration. After retiring as Assistant Superintendent of Indian Creek School Corporation in Johnson County, he accepted the role of pastor at Delphi Christian Church, where he served until his retirement in 2022.
Following his retirement, Bob continued to serve area churches as an interim pastor. After a year and a half of filling in, he has joyfully returned to DCC to serve once again.
